We really enjoyed putting this one together. We kept things clean and simple, but brought the subject to life with neat little illustrations and lots of transitions between the different sections.

This video is about the Windows Azure offering from Capgemini. We developed  several scenarios that show the viewers what can be be achieved by moving to the cloud and how Capgemini has the knowledge to support the transition.

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been working on a series of videos for the Toni&Guy HairMeetWardrobe campaign.

Our challenge, to film 5 bloggers explaining and demonstrating how to achieve their individual look. We had a great day filming each of the bloggers and it was nice challenge having to squeeze them all into 1 minute edits.

We learnt plenty of styling tips along the way too. Unfortunately I don’t have much hair to style though!

As video continues to spread through the Internet, a new form of video has emerged. Traditionally, short form video would be anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, the kind you are used to seeing on all manner of websites.

Now though, we have super short form videos!

A new app called Vine was launched this week allowing users to post videos of up to 6 seconds straight onto Twitter.  It doesn’t seem like a long time but a lot of adverts, whether on TV or online, are a similar length, and you’ll be amazed how much you can fit in.

Another upcoming launch is the 1 second everyday app. It does exactly what it says on the tin, but the results can be stunning. With so little time, you are forced to use only those extra special moments. Check out the 1 second everyday site for a quick demo.

The need to tell stories and document events means that the longer short form video has little to worry about, but this super short form video certainly has legs and we’re sure it won’t take long for it to become another great promotional tool.

It’s fascinating learning about Capgemini’s new products and how they can connect various data sources, such as social media, loyalty cards and store data, to maximise the customer experience.

You’ve been looking for copyright free images for a new promotion, but apart from always finding the same tired and artificial look, when you do find the images you do want they’re all in completely different styles.

A client presented us with this problem. They wanted to build a narrative for the product they were promoting. Stock shots weren’t cutting it, since the shots that could tell the story were by different photographers, featured different models and, of course, didn’t feature the product. Their budget didn’t extend to booking models, choosing a set, hiring a photographer so they could create their own stills.

Our solution was to create our own animated images, based on the storyboard they’d created with stock images, all completely customised and more importantly all on brand. The clip above is a short test extract from this project, we’re now looking to make the animation more fluid. While our solution was more expensive than stock shots, it offered great value by being bespoke, on brand and telling exactly the right narrative at a fraction of the cost of shooting bespoke footage.

We’re creating a project that has is built around some Minority Report style computer screens. As we don’t require sound, we set the studio up in one of our meeting rooms! We worked with four actors who did a great job imagining the screens in front of them, we were thoroughly convinced that they were in operating some very sophisticated technology by the end of the shoot!
