Very exciting – we’ve had our first commission! A CEO of a European financial institution can’t make a meeting overseas, so we’ve been asked to film a short sequence so he can send greetings to his team without him travelling.

And how cool – we were found by someone googling for Christmas Greeting! Not bad since we only put the post up two days ago!

And that’s £25 for the Dog’s Trust! Fantastic!

I would strongly recommend this internship to anyone who wants some great experience and useful insight in the media industry. I was delighted to be using Final Cut after only 20 minutes of being in the building!

I was also pleased about the level of responsibility that Gavin gave me, I really felt part of the team.
As an editor my self it was hugely beneficial, I picked up some great tips, Gavin is a fantastic tutor.

During my internship at Napoleon Creative I was allowed a great deal of creative freedom and was encouraged to participate in projects which covered the full spectrum of the company’s key professional disciplines. The Napoleon Creative team were always on hand to provide help and advice, and gave a great deal of support throughout. Upon completing the internship, I left with a positive sense of achievement in the work I completed and a greater understanding of professional practice within the video production industry. A worthwhile and valuable experience.

My internship at Napoleon Creative was a nothing but beneficial. I was able to acquire new skills and experience extremely quickly in a friendly professional environment. Not once was I asked to make the tea or treated like a dogsbody. Instead I was given portfolio building projects and hands on experience which acted as a great introduction into the media industry. Gavin and Lewis were nothing but helpful and professional throughout my entire internship. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to pursue a career in the media industry.

Working at Napoleon creative gave me great insight in how a professional post production company works. Gavin and Lewis Allowed me to expand on ideas I had for projects using my own creativity as a source for some of the final footage that was used.

I had a great time at Napoleon and would definitely recommend it for any budding editors out there.
