Up bright and early this morning to travel to Leeds. At the request of the client, who wasn’t sure what the location would be like, we took all the kit to do a green screen shoot. In the end, we found a room with a nice view out of the window. Sometimes this can be difficult, as the window will “burn out” meaning it just goes white on screen. Luckily, the window was tinted and it was an overcast day, so we could use the view to our advantage.
We filmed this material for IBM’s marketing team in the US. We shot in IBM’s HQ on South Bank and then retired to a bar for the afternoon to film the b-roll!
Last week was a busy one. We had 3 shooting days, then beginning the follow up editing.
We did two shoots for Capgemini, then one for IBM. The IBM one was a challenge because we were working on behalf of their creative agency Center Line in the States. We shot this trying to give as many options in the editing as possible in terms of shots duration, focus pulls, crash zooms etc. The interview itself went very well and I think the piece should look good. We shot it on DVCPro in HD, which really made a very luxurious location look fantastic.
