Up bright and early this morning to travel to Leeds. At the request of the client, who wasn’t sure what the location would be like, we took all the kit to do a green screen shoot. In the end, we found a room with a nice view out of the window. Sometimes this can be difficult, as the window will “burn out” meaning it just goes white on screen. Luckily, the window was tinted and it was an overcast day, so we could use the view to our advantage.

Yesterday we filmed at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir, where the annual C4 Advisory Board were due to meet.
We filmed several of the Board members talking about why they enjoy attending the session, and what they get from it.
It was a joy to film at Le Manoir, everwhere you pointed the camera looked fantastic. We had physically remove Gordon our camerman from the Japanese Tea garden or he would have happily shot there all day!

I saw this ad at City airport on Sunday night, it is for Total.
I have no idea why they put “imagine” in front of their tag line:
“Imagine if confronting climate change and solving energy needs were inseparable”
The two issues have been inseperable for decades! There’s no imagine about it!
Coincidentally, I was flying to Amsterdam for a conference on Metering. All talk was on Smart Metering, the ability to give the consumer as much information as possible about their energy usage so they can manage and decrease their consumption. It was inspiring to hear chat consistently talking about energy provision and reduction in Co2 as intrinsically linked issues.
When I got back and reviewed this poster, it just really doesn’t read as forward thinking, it sounds like Total hasn’t really got a grasp of the issue yet at all!
