While setting up the company, one of the jobs that I thought would be the simplest but turned out to be quite complicated, was consolidating my address books. Over the years I ended up with four different address books on different computers, PDAs and of course, my mobile.

Plaxo not only stores your contacts and diary information, it also synchs with Outlook and Palm. Once you’re a member and you’ve downloaded the software, whenever you update your details, all your contacts with Plaxo can be updated automatically. And the basic version is free!
